Description of position

The educator will have the chance to work in various age groups and to acquire different skills related to the profession. We are looking for an educator who cares about the global development of the children, their health and safety and who wishes to work as part of our dynamic team. Salary according to the salary scale of the Ministry of the Family.

Salary (range) :

Between 15$ and 17$ / h

Typical schedule :

2 working days (according to the school day schedule), hours to be determined.

We're looking for...

The educator should : Participate in the educational and material planning of the CPE; Helping to make the center a pleasant living environment for the child and other educators; Apply the philosophy of the CPE set out in the educational program while ensuring the safety and well-being of children; Meet their needs; To promote the harmonious development of the child, she must prepare and present activities to the group as well as intervene with children with interventions adapted to the age and overall development; Take care of the environment and the materials in the area; Communicate with parents; Participate in staff meetings; Work jointly with the other educators of the CPE in order to ensure continuity between the different activities offered to the children.

We're offering

We are an early childhood center, located in two areas, St-Laurent and Dorval. The educators generally work four days a week. They have personal days, vacations and many other social benefits which can be found in our human resources management policy which is available on request.

Description of environment

Le Centre de la petite enfance des employés de Bombardier Aéronautique (Montréal) is a workplace center. As such, it must meet the needs of parents who use it. The CPE holds a permit for 200 places including forty (40) infants and one hundred and sixty (160) children. It accepts children aged at least three (3) months up to school age. The opening hours of the childcare center are from 5.45 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. in order to adapt to the needs of families.
