Description of position

The employee hired through this study-work program will assist the homeroom educators of the 3-4 and 4-5 yrs old groups. The employee will therefore have the chance to further develop his/her competencies while collaborating with and working alongside the various homeroom educators. When needed, the employee may also cover for homeroom educators of the 3-4 and 4-5 yrs old groups in case of absenteeism. The employee will then have the chance to experiment taking charge of the group.

Salary (range) :

Between 18$ and 20$ / h

Typical schedule :

Between 25h and 35h per week, organized as follows: - Between 10 and 20 hours on average per week in the workplace according to the needs of the educational childcare service; - 15 hours of study, paid.

Description of environment

CPBR - Centre préscolaire bilingue de Rimouski is a non-subsidized establishment recognized by the ministry of Family as an official daycare provider. CPBR offers preschool service to children from three to five years old in a bilingual French-English setting. The CPBR is a safe and warm environment in which staff members guide children to develop their full potential on personal, social, emotional, cognitive, language and motor skill levels. CPBR delivers a high-quality learning experience through hands-on experiences field trips, and ecological and community/humanitarian projects.
