Description of position

Sous la responsabilité d’une gestionnaire, l’éducatrice ou éducateur met en application un programme éducatif comportant des activités ayant pour but le développement global des enfants dont elle ou il a la responsabilité.

Elle ou il veille à la santé, à la sécurité et au bien-être des enfants et accomplit diverses tâches en relation avec ses fonctions.

Salary (range) :

Between 18$ and 20$ / h

Typical schedule :

Between 25h and 35h per week, organized as follows: - Between 10 and 20 hours on average per week in the workplace according to the needs of the educational childcare service; - 15 hours of study, paid.

We are looking for someone capable of:

• collaborating on a daily basis with work colleagues, parent users of our environments,
• maintaining respectful relationships with the children of the environment, colleagues and parent users,
• demonstrating enthusiasm, pleasure and a good mood at work, remaining flexible in one's functioning with others by leaving room for the unexpected,
• intervening immediately in any situation where an accident or abusive acts could occur,
• communicating to parents relevant and appropriate information on the functioning of the day and the evolution of the child recognize his mistakes
• and invest his energies in improving a situation instead of justifying himself.
