Description of position

Implements the learning through play philosophy - Pays special attention to the planning and organization of routines with the group - Plans, organizes, animates and evaluates the activities with the children entrusted to it while respecting the level of development of the children - The planned activities must correspond to the tastes, needs and interests of the children and must enable the child to make choices and find solutions. - Uses all educational materials to prepare educational activities - Ensures the balance of frequency and duration of activities - Creates an environment that promotes a warm and positive climate for children - Uses various techniques to announce transitions between activities - Ensures the maintenance and disinfection of educational materials and equipment

Salary (range) :

Between 15$ and 17$ / h

Typical schedule :

Between 25 and 35 hours per week, as follows: - Between 10 and 20 hours per week in the workplace according to the needs of the educational childcare service; - 15 hours in training, paid. The training days will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during 69 weeks according to the schedule established by the CEGEP.
