Workplace description

The Mikupishakan CPE is an Indigenous early childhood center located in Ekuanitshit/Mingan. Our environment is rooted in Innu cultural values and promotes the transmission of language and traditions. We offer a safe, caring, and inclusive environment, where each child is supported in their overall development according to the educational program, while integrating our cultural identity. Our educational team works in collaboration with families and the community. We are also supported by the CSSSPNQL to ensure quality professional, educational, and organizational support. We value mutual help, respect, collaboration, and a sense of belonging.

Why join our educational team?

Joining the CPE Mikupishakan team means working in a human-centered, respectful environment rooted in Innu culture. We value collaboration, mutual support, and staff well-being. Our CPE encourages professional development, recognition of skills, and continuous learning, particularly through support offered in programs such as RAC96. The team benefits from a warm work environment, organizational and educational support, as well as guidance from the CSSSPNQL. Working at CPE Mikupishakan means actively contributing to children's development while being part of a community that is engaged and proud of its identity.
