Description of position

Respect the rules of the CPE and apply its educational program. Work in collaboration with other staff members of the childcare center. Connect with families over the long term. Support the child and his family through the different stages of his development. Suggest activities to promote children's development. Encourage children to learn to be independent. Best meet the needs of each of the children in a multi-age group. Ensure their health, safety and well-being. Team working. Show interest by asking questions about professional practices or listening to the advice of colleagues.

Salary (range) :

Between 15$ and 17$ / h

Typical schedule :

Between 25 and 35 hours per week, as follows: - Between 10 and 20 hours per week in the workplace according to the needs of the educational childcare service; - 15 hours in training, paid. The training days will be on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during 69 weeks according to the schedule established by the CEGEP.

The CPE is also open to the various suggestions that the student can bring (new ideas are welcome!). The premises are bright and adapted to the needs of children. Description of environment

The CPE Chatouille welcomes 80 children (10 infants, 70 children over 18 months) in its facility located in the eastern part of the Plateau Mont-Royal. As a partner of the Centre de réadaptation Lucie-Bruneau since its creation, the CPE has access to some of its facilities, including the swimming pool.
