Description of position

The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) is responsible for ensuring the well-being, safety, and overall development of young children. The educator plans and implements age-appropriate educational activities that support children's physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language development while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

Salary (range) :

Between 20$ and 23$

Typical schedule :

Each week alternates between study hours (an average of 15 hours) and work hours (10 to 20 hours depending on the needs of the workplace), throughout the duration of the program.

We're looking for...

Welcome children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Plan, organize, and lead educational activities that promote children's overall development. Observe each child's development and document progress, achievements, and any special needs. Meet children's physical needs, including meals, hygiene, rest, and basic care. Encourage independence, social skills, and the development of healthy habits. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with parents by communicating observations regarding their child's development and well-being. Work collaboratively with other educators and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs.

We're offering

Work in a private educational daycare. Daytime schedule, with hours that may vary according to the needs of the childcare centre. Position requires standing for extended periods, lifting children when necessary, and actively participating in daily activities. Flexible work schedule. Flexible vacation scheduling. On-site parking available. Paid statutory holidays and paid annual vacation.
